Social Science Month Activity - SDG Goal 16- I am grateful!

Gratitude is a simple yet powerful activity that helps us focus on the positive aspects of their lives. By regularly reflecting on what they are thankful for, we can enhance our overall well-being, build resilience, and foster a more positive outlook on life.

In today's activity we focused on SDG Goals of Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16): Promoting gratitude can help build more peaceful and inclusive communities by fostering mutual respect and understanding and also Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3): Gratitude contributes to mental and emotional well-being, reducing stress and promoting overall health.

The students started by drawing the things they were grateful for like family, toys, books etc.

A special guest was invited and the students worked upon a gratitude tree where they had to paste leaves with one thing they were thankful for and lastly play a fun gratitude game where the prompts were pre set like food that we are grateful for, a Place or person we are grateful for, etc. they had to give an answer and also speak the reason for the same.

Everyday we forget to enjoy the little things around us and this activity helped to remember that.
