Glaciers Speak to Us - September Month Activity - Class 2

Class 2 students enthusiastically participated in a special month activity on “Glaciers and Their Preservation.” As part of this project, the children were divided into six groups. Each group worked together to design and decorate their own poster on a specific theme, such as What is a Glacier, Why Glaciers are Important, How Glaciers are Melting, Ways to Save Glaciers, A Glacier’s Feelings, and Our Promise to Protect Glaciers.

The highlight of the activity was the stage presentation. Each group combined their poster display with a unique performance—poems, songs, skits, chants, role play, and pledges. Every child contributed by speaking a line with confidence, and the performances were full of expression, creativity, and teamwork.

The judges were impressed by the way the young learners not only understood the importance of glaciers but also conveyed strong messages about protecting the environment. The activity gave students a chance to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and stage presence while learning an important lesson about saving our planet’s glaciers for the future.
