Students of Class V participated in an interactive Coordinates Challenge to reinforce their understanding of latitude, longitude, hemispheres, and important imaginary lines on the globe. Coordinate clues were announced, and students identified the correct hemisphere by moving to the appropriate location in the classroom. They then answered follow-up questions related to the main latitudes, principal longitudes, and the importance of coordinates in locating places on Earth. The activity encouraged active participation, critical thinking, teamwork, and application of geographical concepts in an engaging and learner-centred manner.
