Students individually explored the school campus and measured the distance between important locations using their footsteps. They used the scale 10 footsteps = 1 cm to convert the actual distances and draw a simple map of the school on paper.
Each student included key landmarks, symbols, labels, and a map key to make their map easy to read. Through this hands-on activity, students gained a practical understanding of map scales, distance measurement, and map-making while improving their observation and spatial skills.
