The assembly, “Remembering Rakhi Through the Ages – One Thread, Many Bonds,” explored the significance and evolution of Raksha Bandhan through different periods of history. Students presented a blend of historical narratives, traditions, and cultural perspectives, highlighting how the simple thread of Rakhi has symbolised protection, love, trust, and bonding across generations.
The programme was honoured by the presence of the Principal - Ms Rashmi Raj Biswal, Cambridge Coordinator Ms Jyotsna Kumar, and Cambridge parents as special guests. Through their engaging presentation, students beautifully connected the past with the present and reflected on the enduring values of love, respect, protection, and togetherness associated with the festival.
